Vitacost Sale

There’s a big sale going on over at Vitacost–12% off everything!

vitacost

I’m a huge fan of Vitacost to order kitchen staples as well as try new-to-me products that aren’t available at local stores.  The best part?  There’s usually a good sale/promo going on, I tend to qualify for free shipping, and items cost less than they would at local stores.  A few of my favorite things?  Sunwarrior Warrior Blend protein powder, Garden of Life Super Seed, Bob’s Red Mill anything, and Pure Bars.

(Side note on Pure Bars – I first found these at Whole Foods in DC – haven’t seen them anywhere else so I was happy to find them online.  They are all natural, organic, gluten free, and delicious!)

If you haven’t shopped Vitacost before, consider shopping around today.  There’s everything from food, fitness, baby, personal care, etc.  Today’s 12% off EVERYTHING is available with promo code 123SAVE and ends at 11:59 pm EST and is available up to $1000.

I know I’ll be shopping today!

Do you shop at Vitacost?  Anything I should try?  What’s your favorite food product that you order online?

**Note:  I will receive $30-$40 worth of products from Vitacost in exchange for sharing today’s sale with you.  Any product reviews and opinions are my own.**

Giveaway – Domeo iPad Case

I received the Domeo Recliner Folio iPad Case from the folks at Domeo via connecting through Business2Blogger.

My iPad is my on-the-go option when I travel – keeping me connected to work, helping me find my way around town, check in for flights, etc.  It’s important to me that the iPad stays protected and this new case is the perfect security system for my device.  The fun bubble design protects the screen and also facilitates keeping the iPad upright in this position:

The design team at Domeo works to make products deliver comfort and quality to your experience while you use your device.  They study technology and how you use it, too.  How many of us use our iPad in the kitchen?  Me!  I really liked that I could easily see the screen and the iPad was sturdy while I read a recipe of two.  (Side note – 60 Minutes recently had an interview with a designer whose company integrates human behavior into design – very cool concept and I feel like that’s exactly what the Domeo team has done with their products.)

The Domeo website has a fun tool you can use to help you find the case that’s right for you – it asks where and how you use the iPad.  My #1 rule about iPad use is it doesn’t belong in the bathroom!

**Note – this giveaway closed on 1/18/13**.

Domeo is giving an A&A reader a chance to win their own iPad case – here’s how to enter:

Mandatory:

1.  Leave a comment telling me which case you’d want and how it would help you make the most of using your iPad.

Optional – please come back and leave a comment for each that option (if you already do #3 or #4, just leave a comment telling me you follow):

**I’ll announce the winner on Friday AM in my Friday Round-Up post**

You can also find Domeo on Facebook, Pinterest, and Google+.  If you’re a Sam’s Club member, cases are now available online.

I received this product for free; views and opinions are my own.  The only thing I was a little bummed about was that I received the case in brown and not grey – I’m just not a fan of brown.  Unless it’s a pair of great leather boots! But the functionality of the case is perfect.
