Friday Round-Up

Happy Friday.  Here’s the first round-up of the new year.

Thank you to those of you who have already signed up to participate in New Year, New Gear.  Interested in a fitness gear exchange?  More information here and you just need to send me an email.

I’ve heard from some of you that you have too much going on this month but would be interested next month – I imagine a February repeat.

You know you live in a college town when the snowmen have arms made from vodka bottles and buttons made from beer bottles

Stay classy Madison!

If you live in a cold climate or area always cold (I deal with both!), you should know about Cuddle Duds.  My mom and I found this top while out shopping last weekend and I’ve basically lived in this for days (and it has visited the washing machine).

That’s your stay warm public service announcement for the week.

Haley shared a free, printable blog planner on her site yesterday.  It looks like a fun project and a great way to get organized.  I have a blogging notebook and sticky notes all over the place with ideas.  This would help me pull it all together.

And finally, Tucker has been under the weather this week.  Fever, infection, etc.  He’s on the mend.  I finally figured out the trick to get him to take his antibiotics–peanut butter.  I learned the hard way that he wasn’t going to take them the old-fashioned way – I nearly lost a few fingers.  Why is it so entertaining to watch a dog eat pb?

What’s on tap for your weekend?  Did you have to go back to work this week?  Any good warm-weather gear to share?

  1. Hahaha what a snowman! Oh, college towns 🙂 Gotta love ’em. Those warm weather cuddle-duds sound RIGHT up my alley, I tell ya. Thanks for passing along, Nicole!

  2. loving that printable. I think I might use it to keep track of my CinnaList!! Hope Tucker feels better soon and yes…PB is the height of entertainment around here with the pups. Tooo funny!! 😉

  3. Kostas: Thanks for helping take such good care of Tucker this week. It’s very rare that Tucker is not operating at 100% but last week was one of those weeks. He’s back in rare form — thanks to you and you-know-who.

Secondly, I think your days on the new fleece sheets are numbered as in, like, zero days remaining.

    Love,
    The QAG
