Happy 2013!
Today I want to share some great advice from a friend who I was fortunate to meet as a young professional just a couple of years into the “real world”.
Every year Carlos shares his wisdom and advice for being a peak performance leader. Last year I printed out his annual advice and kept a copy at work and home. One year later, it’s still really good advice – as you spend time reflecting on last year and looking ahead to this year, consider chewing on these four aspects of achievement and fulfillment that might help you be your best:
Peak Performing Leaders do Four Things Very Well…
Wishing you health and happiness in the year ahead!
Any New Year commitments/goals to share?
Since December 31st always seems to take me by surprise, I’m so late in writing down my goals for the new year. 🙂 But I’m enjoying reading everyone else’s this morning. Happy New Year!

Happy New Year!
Happy New Year! I still have yet to write down my January goals; I’ve been thinking about them, of course, but recording and seeing them definitely makes them real.
Thanks for sharing that, Nicole. I really like the part about your “big future” but breaking it down into daily tasks, and encouraging others to join you en route to that future. I recently watched a commencement speech by Neil Gaiman, where he says you must define your big goal as a mountain, and every life decision you make, you need to ask yourself, “Is this moving me closer to that mountain or further away?” It really boils it down and simplifies it beautifully, I thought. Anyway! Happy New Year 🙂
