On Sunday afternoon I decided to sit down with a good book – that book was Catching Fire by Suzanne Collins.
I need to meet this woman. How did she come up with this trilogy/story line?
About 3/4 of the way through, I needed to take a break. Then I woke up early to finish reading the book before work on Monday. (I squeeze in extra reading while I dry my hair – it takes a good 15 minutes so I might as well multi-task.)
I’m still feeling unsettled by what happened and now what’s possibly set to happen in Mockingjay.
For those of you who have read Catching Fire, I couldn’t believe the H2O twist. And the clock? Holy smokes.
That’s all I will say so as not to ruin this for anyone who has yet to read the trilogy.
Katniss has really got me on the hunt (Hunger Games pun intended) to learn archery. Girl power.
When is the next movie being released?!
Here’s a story with photos of the filming in Hawaii.
I LOVE THE HUNGER GAMES!! The second movie will be released Nov. 22, 2013! (It’s not like I’m obsessed or anything. ;))
Thanks for letting me know!
Aren’t they super fun to read? Do you happen to know who is cast as Finnick? 😉
Here it is: http://insidemovies.ew.com/2012/08/22/hunger-games-catching-fire-finnick-sam-claflin/
mhm, yes, I definitely approve! 😀
Alex, I’ve read the trilogy literally five times–so, so good! I heard Sam Claflin will be Finnick.
Wow, that’s a whole year away! I thought it was sooner.
I loved all three of the books. I had heard very mixed reviews about Mockingjay but ended up liking it because it’s a bit different than the others.
“Unsettling” is definitely how I felt having read Catching Fire too – you won’t be able to put Mockingjay down either! I don’t think the next film’s out for another year, not good!
I completely agree. Unsettled after both Catching Fire and Mockingjay. Like seriously unsettled. Can’t wait to hear what you think of that one.
