Friday I feel like it’s Monday all over again!

A few fun stories from the week…

Dog tracks down owner at local hospital–Zander, a 7-year-old Husky who was a shelter dog, walked to the hospital (2 miles) where his owner was being treated for a skin infection. The pup was so distraught that his “person” wasn’t home that he found his way to the hospital but following his person’s scent.

That is loyalty and dedication.

I think Kostas would come and look for me…if I kept a spoon full of pb with me at all times. He’d be motivated by that!

I have not had the requisite Fall blogger drink at Starbucks…the Pumpkin Spice Latte. There’s a run on the PSLs…The Wall Street Journal is calling this a Halloween Horror Story! Packaged Pumpkin Spice Latte Via packets are selling for $17+ on eBay! About 4x the retail price.

This reminds me of the canned pumpkin shortage of 2009. Bad weather ruined the pumpkin crop so canned pumpkin was at a premium. Cleared off shelves by October. I bought the local Whole Food’s last 15 cans and was determined to ration it to make sure I had enough for Thanksgiving pies. I was also hopeful that I’d have the $1M can of pumpkin and be able to capitalize on the shortage. Alas…that never worked out!

A new James Bond movie is out and big news is that the new theme song features Adele.
