Exhale? I can barely inhale after doing this workout!
The Exhale Core Fusion Pure Abs & Arms workout is a good one! This 50-minute DVD works your arms, shoulders, back, and every aspect of your core plus breaks it all down for a very nice 10 minute stretch. There are also a few bonus segments included.
All you need for this workout is a mat, an exercise or stretch band, and 1 pair of light weights. Trust me, 3lb. dumbbells will be more than enough. With the Core Fusion workouts, the focus is on very small, purposeful movements that target the muscles. That’s one of the things I like about these workouts as they almost ‘force’ you to be present and focus on what you’re doing in the moment–vs. thinking about what comes next.
The workout is lead by Fred DeVito and Elisabeth Halfpapp. This is a great DVD to use on its own or on a day when you want a little toning work after a cardio-based workout.
You can view one of the segments (Abdominals – Resistance Band & Mat) here – and as Fred DeVito says, “If it doesn’t challenge you, it doesn’t change you”. Enjoy!

I’ve never heard of that workout dvd!! I like using dvds when I’m feeling unmotivated to get my butt to the gym, haha
I’ll have to check this one out!
The Exhale DVDs are great!
Do you buy all your videos or borrow them at the library or something first? Just curious because I’m always so afraid to buy them without testing them out first! I’ve been disappointed by more than one in the past…
I use Netflix for workout DVDs and occasionally get them at the library. I also own some that I bought when Borders was going out of business. The nice thing with Netflix is if I don’t like the DVD I will have a new one to try within a couple of days.
I’ve done one of their workouts. It’s very TOUGH but yet at the same time calming. Lol.
