Today’s Workout: 10 Minute Solution Fitness Ball Workouts

Can you get fit in 10 minutes a day?  Probably not.  But can you complete the entire 40-50 minute workout on a 10 Minute Solution workout DVD and get a good workout?  I think so!

This is a great DVD to have on-hand when you want to do a quick toning workout with the variety of the fitness ball.  Equipment needed:  fitness ball, light weights (3, 5, or 8lb would work), and a mat.  The workouts include:

Butt & Thigh Tone-Up, Arms & Shoulder Sculptor, Firm, Flat Abs, Total Body Fat Burner, and Ultra Stretch

and you can customize the program to select workouts and the order.  This is a get down to business, fast and efficient workout.  The DVD features Kimberly Spreen and she does a nice job explaining the moves and how to target the muscles.  I use it on days when I’ve taken the dogs for a long walk but still want to work on strength and core.  Don’t let the 10 minutes fool you…my legs and shoulders were burning! The Ultra Stretch section is also great for opening up your lower back, hips, and hamstrings.
