Sunday I was going to get my bake on but then a Paula Deen emergency occurred… a refrigerator malfunction caused the 2 remaining sticks of margarine in the fridge to melt–all over. After cleaning everything up at least my hands were nice and smooth from all of the oil!
The full-throttle peanut butter cookies I had planned to bake were going to have to wait. But I still wanted to bake. Enter Peanut Butter Bombs. These are my super-easy yet super-tasty go-to easy to make cookie. They are always a hit but now the secret is out that they are only 4 ingredients and take less than 30 minutes to mix, make, and bake!
Peanut Butter Bombs
Ingredients
1 egg
1/4 cup brown sugar
3/4 cup peanut butter (creamy, crunchy, anything works)
1/2 cup chocolate (chips, M&Ms, other candy)
Process
*Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
*Crack the egg into a mixing bowl and stir with a fork.
*Add brown sugar and peanut butter.
*Mix with a spoon until blended
*Add in the chocolate, stir to combine.
*Place by the spoon full on an un-greased cookie sheet.
*Bake 12-15 minutes and enjoy!
This recipe makes approximately 1 dozen cookies. Store in an airtight container. Let me know if you make these!
These are not part of the plant-strong program, but are a treat that QAG enjoys and I shared this latest batch with my co-workers. When I offered them at work and a couple of people declined, I did tell them that they weren’t healthy. Then I took them to my staff meeting and they disappeared.
Side note – Spring Break is in the air so I’ll leave you with this:
Question: What’s your go-to easy cookie?
Oh. I love giving Boyd PB jars. It’s so fun watching him. 🙂 The simple pleasures. Haha. As a side note, Kevin alwyas asks me if I want to lick out empty hummus containers. Lol. I have this chocolate chip pudding cookie recipe that I can count on!
